Well it’s that time again when men and woman all over head out to the great outdoors to blow something up yes, its hunting season.

Last months BP magazine had an article about urban hiking and the author talked about a route he had developed around his town that hit every set of stairs. He did this one, to keep in shape and two, because you don’t always have the time and money to get out in the woods.

Today’s journey started at Elk Creek campground in the Tillamook state forest where I crossed the Wilson River found the trail head and walked the .2 miles to the Elk Mt trail.
