Just this pass weekend, (11-22-08) I had the best time, with my two boys Nicolas and Gregory and Trip, I said two boys because Trip is Nicolas a beautiful German Shepherd, for the first time all three of us got together and went, for two days to the Appalachian Trail, we cover 12 miles in the snow, camp over night with temperature of of 14 degrees that part was not fun, but is going to give us so

well I went camping this weekend and got sick. It is pretty crappy when you can't do anything but lay out and sleep cause you feel like you are dying. All in all, the whole picture wasn't so bad. I got to spend alot of quality time with my buddy. As for next time, I will probably bring aspirin.

Being a resident near all these awesome trails i have never hiked up and over the Sandias. I have done many of the trails on both sides of the mountain, so i decided to attempt the South Sandia peak with a colleague from work. On a late October Tuesday morning in 39*f we were dropped off at Eagle Canyon estates trail head which is about 6300' at about 7:45 a.m.
